Jeffrey Jinyu
Having had many solo and group exhibitions, Jinyu has developed a solid reputation as an artist, and his landscapes and still-lifes have become highly prized by collectors.

Jeffrey Jinyu Liu has been a professional artist for over 26 years. A full time painter since 2001, Jinyu moved from Beijing to Vancouver where he found his muse in life and nature. His work reflects an international blend of
Japanese teachings and Canadian scenery. Trained in oils and graphic design, his work demonstrates balance as well as impressionism.
He received a Bachelor's Degree in Oil Painting from the Central Institute of Fine Arts. In 1988, he moved to Tokyo where he earned an M.A in Design and an M.F.A at the Musashino Art University of Tokyo Japan. He undertook duties in the Department of Arts at the Beijing University in 1995, until he moved himself and his family to Vancouver where he has been a full time painter since 2001.
