Sanja Lukac

1994 marked the immigration for Sanja Lukac from her humble hamlet in the Former Yugoslavia to the city of Calgary were she grew up in a fusion of Serbian and Croatian culture.
She studied Fine Arts in her youth, and holds a Bachelor of Design in Photography from the Alberta College of Art and Design.
Sanja's passion for photography originated from her love of painting and creative nature. Sanja always searched for visuals to inspire her fine arts and eventually the desire to capture her surroundings became her ultimate passion.
She lives for the challenge in finding creative approaches to her subject matter and capturing a unique meaning with every photograph taken.
Her interest in architecture founded her Calgary city scenes featured in the gallery. She believes that preserving Calgary's culture and history is an important investment of her time, especially now with such fast paced development. |
